When it comes to building character, confidence, and community through sport, few places in Central Ohio match the legacy of the Racquet Club of Columbus.

Established in 1971 by John and Jeanne Hendrix, RCC was founded on a vision to create the area’s premier indoor tennis facility. What began as an eight-court venue has grown into a standout, family-owned complex featuring 10 Novacrylic tennis courts, four racquetball courts, wallyball facilities, and a pro shop.

Who They Are & What They Do

Family values and an unwavering standard of excellence drive everything RCC does. Their primary mission is providing a world-class racquet sports environment for the entire community. They achieve this through meticulous facility care, forward-thinking training programs, and a dedicated team focused on helping players of all levels thrive.

From junior competitive clinics and adult career drills to world-class racquet stringing, Racquet Club of Columbus serves as a vibrant hub where players of all ages and skill levels can learn, grow, and connect through sport.

Championing Youth: The 2026 USTA Midwest Essay Contest

RCC’s dedication extends far beyond the court. This year, Racquet Club of Columbus, alongside Jim Hendrix, stepped forward as a proud sponsor of the 2026 USTA Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation NJTL Essay Contest.

By supporting youth educational and athletic initiatives through the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network, RCC and Jim Hendrix continue to demonstrate that their true passion lies in investing in the next generation, empowering young student-athletes to express themselves, excel in their studies, and fall in love with the game. We extend our deepest gratitude to Racquet Club of Columbus and Jim Hendrix for their incredible generosity and commitment to inspiring the next generation of players and writers in our community!
